Tim most recently served as an Assistant Coach for his high school alma mater, Dublin Scioto High School where he also was a player. Prior to Dublin Scioto, Tim served as Assistant Coach of The Ohio State University Women’s Club Hockey program which plays at the ACHA Division II level. Tim is currently a level 3 coach with USA Hockey. Prior to playing hockey, Tim was a competitive figure skater.

Tim worked at the Chiller Ice Rinks and has experience in the automotive industry as a salesperson. When not playing or coaching hockey, Tim enjoys spending time with his dog, BoJack, or cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets and Miami Dolphins.

We are excited to announce we have hired Shawn Johnson as a corporate sales executive! Shawn will help the organization obtain corporate sponsors. Shawn comes to our organization with lots of sales experience. He spent time with the Watertown Wolves of the FPHL.

"My name is Shawn Johnson. I am from Carthage, NY. After graduating high school I enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. After 5 years of active duty service I decided to ETS and pursue my passion, Sports Marketing! I received my Associates Degree from SUNY Jefferson. I have a beautiful wife, Alexis and a two year old daughter, Oaklynn. I am excited to join the Wooster Bulls. I appreciate the opportunity Cody has given to me. I always look forward to new challenges! Let’s get this started Bull Town."

Jordan Roemer

Jordan Roemer

Assistant Coach

A native of Cobourg, Ontario. Jordan developed through the Cobourg minor hockey system and the Quinte Red Devils AAA program before advancing to junior hockey, where he spent four seasons, including three with the Wooster Oilers.
Jordan continued his playing career at Eastern Michigan University, where he competed for four years and served as team captain his final three seasons. After hanging up his skates, he transitioned into coaching. He began his coaching journey as an assistant with the Kingsville Kings of the GMHL. He then returned to his alma mater as Associate Head Coach at Eastern Michigan University, a role he held for four years. Most recently, Jordan served as Head Coach and General Manager of the Wooster Oilers for two seasons. Jordan currently resides in Wooster, Ohio, and he has one son.

Mike Bell

Mike is a native of Brampton Ontario, and over the past 30 years has taken on many different roles in the game of hockey.  He has coached numerous ages and levels from house to AAA and has run hockey camps throughout Ontario and the Midwest United States.  Mike has also served as the Hockey Director for the Strongsville Youth Organization as well as a Mid Am District Evaluator.  He is a level 4 coach with USA hockey.   Currently, Mike is an assistant coach with the St. Edward High School program as well as a USA Hockey Coach Developer.   He also continues to work with  teams and individual players throughout the summer months providing skill development instruction.

Outside of the game of hockey Mike is an educator who is entering his 31st  year of teaching.  He has taught grades 1 through 12 and is currently teaching social studies at Cloverleaf High School in Lodi, Ohio. 

Mike and his wife Leslie have four boys, Jacob, Lucas, Zachary and Andrew.  They reside in Strongsville, Ohio.

Bennett, a native of Grand Island, NY played four years in the Ontario Junior Hockey League and six years of professional hockey in the SPHL and ECHL.

We are excited to have Shane as part of our staff and the knowledge of professional hockey he brings to our organization.

Grant Springer

Local Scout

Grant is a native of Canada and is a skills Coach for the Chatham University Men’s Ice Hockey Team.

He was drafted by the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in 1982. He decided to take the college route after being awarded an athletic scholarship for soccer at Alderson Broadus College (West Virginia).

After college Grant played 2 seasons with the Markham Waxers (OPJHL). Eventually he made into the AHL with St. John’s.

In 1997 Grant accepted the position of Director at the Ice Zone in Youngstown, OH. Grant started a Junior A-Level Hockey team out of Youngstown, called the Phantom Rocket. This program has grown into today's current USHL’s Youngstown Phantoms.

Grant runs a hockey academy and spends time with players in Wooster. Grant Springer Hockey Academy is a well know academy known for working with first class players. His academy works with JT Miller of the New York Rangers.

Grant and his family reside in Youngstown, OH.

Play By Play Commentator

A native Clevelander, Keith Kokinda has over 20 years of experience as a play-by-play announcer. He as been doing play-by-play on Ohio State University men's and women's hockey along with several other sports on Big Ten Plus since 2018. He also covers high school sports for OH Report and is an All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir alumnus.
"I am looking forward to being part of the Wooster Bulls' inaugural season for my first season of doing play-by-play on minor professional hockey," Kokinda said.

I grew up outside of Wooster and went to Northwestern High School. After that, I moved to Pittsburgh to attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media Productions.
After college, I ended up in Buffalo, working with the Buffalo Sabres Hockey team. I edited highlights and filmed interviews with coaches and players that aired on New York's MSG Network (like the ESPN of New York).
In 2019, I moved back to Ohio and started a video production company with a college friend. We focused on weddings and music videos."

We are excited to announce we have hired Cade Cracas as our team sports writer and radio play by play announcer! Cade comes to the Bulls with lots of experience in sports writing and play by play. Cade has worked with Bally Sports Great Lakes, Lake Erie Crushers, Akron City FC, and Akron Rubberducks.

"I’m excited to join the Wooster Bulls and help lead the written efforts of the organization as the teams sports writer! From calling games at Ashland University to working with multiple organizations including WMFD-TV and Bally Sports, this next chapter covering semi-pro hockey is a beyond exciting. I can’t wait to bring the action, the stories, and the energy of Bulls hockey to fans all season long!”

Patrick joins the Bulls with over 20 years of experience presenting in the corporate world and MCing events!

Patrick Erlenbach grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and has been a lifelong fan of Columbus hockey—from the days of the Chill and Buckeyes to cheering on the Blue Jackets. Over the past five years, he’s built a presence as an online content creator, sharing his passion for hockey across various esports communities. He joined the Wooster hockey community when his son became part of the Bantam program in the Wooster Youth Hockey Association last season. Now, he's excited to bring that same energy and enthusiasm to support local hockey with the Wooster Bulls.

I started this journey snapping photos from the stands during my kids events. I have since evolved into doing more dedicated photos for families along with Senior photos, sports portraits, and have began the adventure into some wedding photography.
