One-goal loss sees Bulls fall, 3-2, to Toledo Mobsters

After snapping the team's losing streak last week, the Wooster Bulls started up a new one on Saturday, Dec. 20.

But it wasn't a bad showing by any means for them.

They travelled to the Team Toledo Ice House for the Battle for Ohio, where the Toledo Mobsters came out on top, 3-2. It was a tight game from start to finish, with the Bulls hanging in close the entire outing.

Through the first two periods of action, the teams remained level, 2-2.

In the third period, the Mobsters were able to find the separating score as they pulled away with their third goal, which ultimately would be the game winner.

The season series shifts to a 2-1 record in favor of the Mobsters, with both losses for the Bulls being by a 3-2 fashion. Wooster's win in the series came at home in a 9-4 beatdown.

At this point in the season, the Bulls are looking for consistency, especially as the New Year approaches. The team currently sits with a 2-6 record on the year.

They'll be back in action after Christmas with two road battles against the Buffalo Tempest from Hyde Park Ice Pavilion on Saturday, Dec. 27, and Sunday, Dec. 28.
