Bulls Unveil 2025-26 Schedule Ahead of Inaugural Season

The Wooster Bulls have announced the official schedule for the franchise’s inaugural 2025-26 season in the American Premier Hockey League (APHL).


The Bulls will drop the puck on their APHL campaign with a highly anticipated home opener on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. against the Iron City Forge at Alice Noble Arena. While this game will just serve as a preseason matchup, it will be a chance for the community to see what the team has to offer.


“We are very excited. There will be faces fans recognize and new faces for the fans to cheer on,” Sizemore said. “From the players and coaches all the way to the front office, we are ready to put on a show for our fans.”


After playing their first  preseason matchup at home, they will have one more on the road. It will take place at Frozen Pond Arena in Valencia, Pa., against the Forge with gametime slated for a late 9:00 p.m..


The Bulls’ regular season will kick off just a week later. The team will play a total of 24 games, 12 at home and 12 away across the Midwest and Northeast of the United States. The team will compete against six APHL opponents, the Iron City Forge, Toledo Mobsters, West Michigan Sentinels, Buffalo Tempest, Ridgetown Royals and Thousand Island Raiders.


Key Dates and Weekend Series


The first regular season matchup of the season will take place against the Mobsters on Saturday, Oct. 18, with puckdrop set for 7:00 p.m.. The Bulls will be traveling to Toledo, Ohio, to clash inside of Team Toledo Ice House.


Fortunately for the Wooster Faithful, they will not have to wait too much longer after that to see their team in action at home. On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Bulls will host their regular season home-opener against the Ridgetown Royals. That game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. inside of Alice Noble Arena


Just after Christmas in the heart of the year, the Bulls will travel north to Buffalo, New York, for a two-game set beginning on Dec. 27. There, they will take on the Tempest.


Heading into the new year, the home schedule is highlighted by several weekend series:

  • Jan. 24-25: Back-to-back games against the Forge.

  • Feb. 14-15: Valentine’s Day clash with the Tempest

  • March 7-8: The final two games of the regular series, providing potential playoff implications versus the Forge.

Ticket Information


Season ticket packages and group experiences are now available at woosterbulls.hockeyshift.com/tickets. Single-game tickets are also available for $12 each and can be purchased either online or in-person. The team will announce community events and game-day experiences in the coming months.


The Bulls will have their free agent camp in early August and will begin unveiling the rest of their roster ahead of the preseason matchups.
