Bulls drop both road games to Sentinels, fall 8-2 in game two

It just wasn't the Bulls' weekend.

On Sunday, Nov. 9, the Wooster Bulls fell to the West Michigan Sentinels, 8-2, in a matchup from the Cedar Rock Sportsplex.

Playing on the road has been a struggle for the Bulls, with the team going 0-3 to start the campaign in away games.

To start the Sunday afternoon outing, Wooster kept it fairly close.

At the end of the first period, both teams were level with a goal apiece. For most of the season, that's been a similar storyline for the Bulls: they keep the game close early.

In the second period, the Sentinels regained control of the game with a 2-1 scoreline, but yet again the Bulls rallied and brought the game level at two.

However, West Michigan received a spark out of nowhere and rattled off the next six straight goals. The Bulls were unable to rally back from this deficit, ending the contest with an 8-2 scoreline in favor of the Sentinels.

Wooster's record drops to 1-4 on the campaign, while the Sentinels remain atop the West Division with a perfect 5-0 record. They've scored 27 goals on the season and conceded just nine.

The Bulls will now have a bit of time to relax, reset, and regroup before they next take the ice with a 12-day break.

Up next, the Bulls prepare to take on the Ridgetown Royals on the road from the East Kent Memorial Arena in Ridgetown, Ontario.

The last time these two teams met was the Bulls' regular-season home opener, with the Royals coming out on top, 5-2.
