Bulls Cap Off Strong Free Agent Camp, Sign Nine Players

BULLS BRING IN NUMEROUS NEW FACES

The Wooster Bulls just recently added nine new players to its roster following the team's Free Agent Camp back on Saturday, Aug. 2.

Roughly 30 players came out to compete for a spot during the camp, which gave the Bulls' coaching staff a chance to evaluate fresh talent ahead of the upcoming season.

“I thought it went really well. We learned a lot, and everyone is looking forward to a strong start to the season,” Head Coach Tim Sizemore said.

The following players were signed by the Bulls:

  • Goalkeeper, Luke Bell
  • Forward, Torin Bradish
  • Forward, Tristen Piwinski
  • Forward, Nathan Schuette
  • Forward, Remington Reynolds
  • Forward, Colt Reynolds
  • Forward, Jake Greathouse
  • Defender, Dylan Myers
  • Defender, Brenden Piwinski

“Everyone we picked up stood out in their own way," Sizemore said. "I am looking forward to seeing all of the guys showcase their own individual skills while working as a unit to help us win in front of our eager fans."

The team will play its first preseason game in just under two months on Saturday, Sept. 27. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. against the Iron City Forge from Alice Noble Arena.

“We are preparing for War," said Sizemore. "Over the next few weeks and practices, we will be installing our systems, building chemistry, and getting in shape. We want to make sure we are thoroughly prepared for our preseason so that it will be easier to make adjustments before the regular season opener."
